Fernandez named MCAC player of the Week, Cyclones up to #5 in NJCAA Poll

Cyclones Sophomore Jonathon Fernandez was named MCAC Central Division Player of the week helping the #5 Cyclones to a 4-0 week.  Fernandez was 7-11 for the week with a double and home run while driving in 4 runs and scoring 8 times himself.

In the latest NJCAA poll, the Cyclones are ranked #5 up 2 spots from last week.

The Cyclones defeated NJCAA Division II Dakota County Technical College in a midweek double header 12-0 and 10-2.  The Cyclones continued rolling on the weekend defeating Hibbing Community College in a non division Double Header 12-0 and 13-2.  

The Cyclones return home this weekend when they host the Haller Invitational riding on a 6 game win streak. Games for the 4 team event start at 10:30am both Saturday and Sunday at the Municipal Athletic Complex (MAC).
