Post Season Awards Announced
The Cyclones Women's Basketball Team finished 14-12 for the 2025-26 season; this was the first winning season for the Women's Basketball team since 2014.
This year's team finished 4th in the MCAC South and qualified for the Region XIIIB tournament where they lost to Northland.
Sophomore Brooklyn Fischer (BBE HS) and Freshman Allison Groskreutz earned All-MCAC Southern Division honors. Fischer was named to the Second team while Groskreutz earned honorable mention honors.
Fischer one of two returners for the Cyclones, averaged 16.1 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game. Brooklyn led the Cyclones in both categories. Fischer finished 7th in the conference in scoring and 16th in rebounds.
Groskreutz averaged 15 points per game. She led the Cyclones with 2.5 steals per game. Allison also averaged 4.1 rebounds per game. Groskreutz finished 16th in points per game and 17th in steals per game in the MCAC.
Freshman Brinn Kuechle was named to the MCAC All Sportsmanship team.
